Bsoft program

bresolve

Usage: bresolve [options] input.img/input.star

Determines the resolution from pairs of reconstructions or between projections and 2D images.
Modes of usage: 1. To generate projections and determine resolution against raw 2D images: a. Using just image files: bresolve -v 7 -map 3D.map -sampling 5.5 -resol 18.5 -proj proj.pif part.pif b. Using a project defined in a STAR file: bresolve -v 1 -map 3D.map -sampling 5.5 -resol 18.5 param.star (Note: The particle image file names are taken from the parameter file) 2. To determine resolution from two 3D reconstructions: bresolve -v 3 -sampling 3.67 -resol 15 -map 3D.map 3D.map

Actions:

-Rotate 0.5,15,123Psi, theta, and phi angles (default 0,0,0).

Parameters:

-verbose 7Verbosity of output.
-sampling 1.5,1.5,1.5Sampling (angstrom/pixel, a single value sets all three).
-resolution 15Resolution limit for output (angstrom).
-cutoff 0.5,45,1,0.5Resolution cutoffs for FSC, DPR, SSNR and RAB.
-ratio 2.5Radial sampling to Cartesian sampling ratio (default 1).

Input:

-map file.map3D reference file name.
-Mask mask.tifReciprocal space mask (same size as reference).

Output:

-output file.starOutput STAR format file.
-Postscript file.psPostscript output filename.
-projections proj.imgOutput projection file name.
