Bsoft program

bhelix

Usage: bhelix [options] input.img output.img

Symmetrizes and projects images with helical symmetry.

Actions:

-helix 25.3,67.1,2Symmetrize: Helical rise and angle, and dyad axis indicated by 2.
(default 10 angstrom, 45 degrees, no dyad axis).
-super 25.3,67.1,22,15.5Superhelix: Helical rise and angle, and offset in xy plane.
-normalizeNormalize symmetrized output, use for maps close to symmetry (default not).
-backgroundCalculate new background values.
-project 20Generate projections with this angular step size (over 360 degrees).
-find5,8.5,0.5,10,22.4,1.5 Find helical parameters with this rise and angle
(each: start, end, increment).
-rescale -0.1,5.2Rescale data to average and standard deviation.

Parameters:

-verbose 1Verbosity of output.
-datatype uForce writing of a new data type.
-sampling 1.5,1.5,1.5Sampling (A/pixel; a single value can be given).
-origin 110,50,44Origin for helix (default 0,0,0 or from image).
-zlimits 8,47Range of slices along the helical axis to use (default 0,inf).
-radius 22Radial limit for symmetrization and finding parameters (default from image).
-resolution 15.6,200Resolution limits for cross-correlation (default 0).
-bin 2Binning for finding parameters (default 1).

Output:

-Postscript file.psPostscript output file name.
